At Rylands High we aim to mould well-rounded individuals, who do not only leave school with academic competencies but who also have an understanding of social dynamics and experience with serving those in need and looking after our environment.

RHYCO
The Rylands High Youth Charity Organisation serves the needs of the surrounding community. Each term we take on new outreach programmes that help to better the lives of many. The organisation allows learners the opportunity to interact with and give back to the community outside of school. All are welcome to join!
Environmental club
The Environmental club aims to increase learner awareness of environmental issues or concerns through weekly discussions and participation in environmental projects. Our upcoming projects include restoring the school's vegetable garden and doing beach clean ups. Members acquire skills to identify, investigate and understand environmental issues and learn the concept of community service, by working together to make our school, our neighbourhood or city a better place to live in. We encourage all to join our mission.
Blood drive
We provide learners and staff the opportunity to donate blood and save lives every term.
